Pawtrait Event to Benefit Canine Companions for Independence

Beautiful blue bay and skies were the background for our pawtraits at dog friendly Buchanan Beach. Thanks to our friends at DogTrekker for helping us to find yet another pawesome pup friendly place to play.

It was my privilege to have been able to lend my paws, time and talents to help raise awareness for a great cause like Canine Companions for Independence. Many thanks to Rachel Sheppard for being a pawesome liason between the East Bay Miracles Chapter members and PawPawrazzi Pet Photography.

During the Pre-Consultation with Cassius' mom, she told me that he's such a good boy, who always takes his duties very seriously.

But, what she was hoping for me to capture, was his sweet, relaxed side. So, you can imagine how much she loved seeing this relaxed smiling pawtrait of her best buddy. Because dogs never lie about love!

Expertly trained to perform over 40 commands these dogs help children, veterans and adults with disabilities open doors, pick up dropped items and much more. Isn't that amazing?
